The Vega de Yuco Winery stands in the middle of the Lomo de Tese, amidst a valley of vineyards, volcanic ash and a few whitewashed houses featuring traditional architecture dotting the idyllic winegrowing landscape around Masdache (Lanzarote, Canary Islands).
It was founded in 1997 and is part of the Vinos de Lanzarote Designation of Origin and the Canary Islands Wine Tourism Cluster.
With the strength and identity of Lanzarote, its wines are a faithful reflection of the island’s rich heritage of indigenous grape varieties, with Malvasía Volcánica and Listán Negro grapes as the predominant varieties used in their production. Vega de Yuco wines offer a world of sensations with a strong personality—complex, buttery and full of aromatic, refreshing and pleasing nuances that invite everyone to indulge in the pleasure of enjoying top-quality wine with its own distinctive personality.
The Winery has a small shop on the premises selling its entire range of wines available on the market. Its opening hours are from Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Winery also sells online through its corporate website, shipping to the Canary Islands and European countries. Tours on appointment are also possible by checking availability and booking in advance through the website.
From the premium Princesa Gara range to the well-known Esencia Yaiza line with its uniquely designed blue bottle, Vega de Yuco wines also include the renowned all-time classic Vega de Yuco, the refreshingly new Riscos de Famara line and the +Dach sparkling wines with their tiny bubbles. Vega de Yuco also offers a wide variety of liqueurs and an organic Malvasía Volcánica wine from plots certified as organic.
