Bodega La Geria

Bodega La Geria is located in the heart of the winegrowing area of Lanzarote, known as La Geria, with an unrivaled view of Timanfaya National Park.

It was built at the end of the 19th century by the Rijo family and since 1993 it has been directed by its current owners.

Since its foundation, it has experienced significant technological changes that have allowed it to produce high quality wines under the Vinos de Lanzarote Designation of Origin seal.

The winery currently has a 450,000-liter capacity, mainly in stainless steel tanks and a smaller proportion in oak barrels.

300,000 bottles are produced annually. Young wines are prepared with white Volcanic Malvasia grapes for dry, semi-sweet, and sweet wines; Listán negro grapes are used for reds and rosés and Moscatel de Alejandría grapes for sweet moscatels.

Bodega La Geria is one of the leading wineries on the island and one of the most frequently visited in Spain.
The winery is open to the public every day of the year and offers guided tours for its most curious visitors with prior reservations.
