In the Geria area the hole system is used due to the thickness of the lapilli or pic\u00f3n layer, which in some areas can be up to 3 meters. Thus, the planting density is lower than on the rest of the island.<\/p>\n
In the Tinajo and Har\u00eda area, the trench system is used, with trenches either on the perimeter or throughout the plot. The lapilli layer in this area is thinner, especially in Har\u00eda, where it is scarce in some areas. The main area in Har\u00eda is Y\u00e9 \u2013 Lajares.<\/p>\n
